Ni hao.  (Nee how).

In about the Summer of 2006 I was taught how to say "thank you" in the Mandarin Chinese language from a native Chinese co-worker whom I were training, at work. "Xie xie".  (Sheeyuh sheeyuh.)

Since then, my interest has continued to grow as I've continued learning more and more words in their native language.  I've purchased 2 books from the corporation that publishes the Dummies books, including "Chinese Phrases For Dummies" as well as the "Chinese For Dummies - Audio Set", this past Christmas season.  The latter, includes examples of basic Mandarin Chinese, across 3 CDs, which I've found to be a great learning resource.
I have a great amount of help from fellow Chinese workers as well - assisting me in my learning proper pronounciation as well as grammar.

Some day - I intend to be able to fully converse with other Mandarin Chinese people within their native language.

Through my life I've always been interested in the little bits of information that I've learned about the country of China, including their centuries long history and cultures.  The more that I speak with fellow workers, the more that I wish to learn.  I'm enjoying every minute of it now and will continue to as time goes by.

I'll continue updating this section of my web page over time, as I continue to learn more.
